Hustle ... Self-determination to go out there and work it out until you made it.

WE ARE HERE

Available remotely during Alert Levels 3 and 4

During this new lockdown period, BM Accounting wish to let you know that as valued clients we are still available to continue to provide you with support you and your business needs.

This might involve some guidance on various supports available, planning around short term revenue and cost management or just as an open ear to talk to during this challenging and unsure time.

Our team is set up to work confidently and competently from home. You can continue to reach us via email or direct dial in many cases - see our contact page on our website for details -

There may be some impact on available hours and response times due to the challenges of working at home, but we remain committed to the same high level of service.

Please, reach out to us if you need any support.

Wage Subsidy and Resurgence Support Payments

Now that Alert Level 4 is confirmed for a period of at least seven days, businesses that have experienced (or expect to experience) a revenue decline of more that 40% may qualify for the wage subsidy.

This decline is calculated as follows:

- at least a 40% decline over the period between 17 August 2021 and 30 August 2021 inclusive, compared to a typical 14-day consecutive period of revenue in the six weeks immediately before the move to Alert Level 4 on 17 August 2021; or

- if your business has highly seasonal revenue, you must have at least 40 per cent decline over the revenue test period compared to the same 14 consecutive days in 2020 or 2019.

Please note the resurgence support payment which is separate from the wage subsidy only requires a reduction of 30 per cent.

There are also supports available for any essential businesses if you have any employees forced to isolate due to being a close contact or awaiting a test result.

Our team are very happy to discuss your individual situation and your eligibility for any of these support payments. You may also wish to visit www.covid19.govt.nz for further information.

If you have any questions or need any support in this regard, please let us know.

Please continue to look after yourselves and your loved ones – we are all hoping for a speedy resolution and a swift return to the relative normality we have enjoyed for most of this year.

Regards

The team at BM Accounting.
