Cyclone Gabrielle

What an incredibly tough and challenging time for our region. The images of devastation and destruction around our region are hard to comprehend and our hearts go out to all of those who have been unduly impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle. We have been heartened by the way the Hawke’s Bay community pulls together in times of need and the level of volunteering, donations, and support has been awesome. Well done to all of you who have done your bit to get the Bay back on its feet.

 

We know this will take time and effort to fully recover from. Our offices are open in both Havelock North and Waipukurau. We are able to support you and your business in the following ways:

 

• Support with insurance claims, especially for reports detailing loss of earnings and financial impacts

• Communications with banks and lenders on your behalf around funding requirements, short term working capital and loan repayments

• Access to financial support and assistance – we are keeping up to date with the latest supports offered by central government and other agencies. We will be able to direct and support you as this picture becomes clearer.

• Cash flow reporting – we understand this is likely to have a significant impact for many so understanding what your cash flows and balance sheet may look like over the next few months may be useful.
